Head Chef Daniel Pălici
Daniel Pălici is a young chef, although his professional experience will soon reach a decade. He discovered his skills by accident – his words, but such talent couldn’t have found a better terrain to be nurtured and developed. His curiosity is mainly manifested in exploring the flavours of ingredients that are most often kept out of the spotlight. His passion for food chemistry constantly drives him to excel in potentiating the unique taste of every ingredient. Ever since the Yellow Guide – Gault-Millau first came to Romania (2018) he was noticed in the category of „Great Chefs of Tomorrow”, but didn’t let any form of formal appraisal distract him. We hope that amidst his team, in the Maize kitchen, he will shine adequately as a promoter of the Romanian cuisine and outstanding representation of the farm to table concept.
